jhb66 Publicado hace 2 horas Share Publicado hace 2 horas After three nights of getting deleted on mid-map headies, I'm pretty sold on the best AR loadout in Black Ops 7 being the boring one: range barrel, recoil help, big mag. I've been grinding camos too, so if you're chasing CoD BO7 Shattered Gold Camo while still trying to win Hardpoint, this setup doesn't make you choose between kills and map control. The short version: build your AR to stay flat, hit hard past mid-range, and reload as little as possible. Best AR loadout in Black Ops 7 for the current patch Run Compensator, Extended Range Barrel, Vertical Grip, Red Dot Sight, and Extended Mag II. That's the core. The Compensator plus Vertical Grip combo keeps the first burst tight enough that you don't have to drag your stick or mouse halfway to the floor after every spray. Extended Range Barrel bumps up bullet velocity and keeps your damage from feeling like wet paper when someone ego-challs across a lane on bigger maps. I tried dropping the optic for irons, and honestly, your mileage may vary. Some blueprints have cleaner sights, but the base irons on a few ARs still clutter the target more than I like. Red Dot is boring, sure, but boring wins fights. Extended Mag II is also a no-brainer in Domination and Hardpoint because BO7 spawns love throwing two more players at you right after you win the first duel. Why this Black Ops 7 AR build beats random attachment stacking Here's the thing though: don't slap every heavy attachment on the gun and call it meta. No shot. You'll turn a good rifle into a fridge with a trigger, and then every SMG player sliding through a doorway gets free lunch. The current patch favors ARs that can pre-aim lanes, snap after sprint, and still track a jump-shot without the reticle bouncing into the moon. Fast Hands matters more than it looks on paper because Extended Mag II slows the reload just enough to get you killed if you panic reload in the open. Ghost is still the safe second perk since UAV spam pops up constantly, especially in pubs where everyone is farming streaks. For the first perk, take Tactical Sprint or a move-speed boost if your class has that option. You're not trying to play like an SMG, but you still need to rotate before the next hill is already painted red. Should you use the aggressive AR loadout for close range? If you like playing flex, swap Extended Range Barrel for Short Barrel and trade Vertical Grip for Laser Sight. I've used that version on smaller maps, and not gonna lie, it feels way less clunky when you're cutting through side routes or breaking a hill late. The trade-off is real, though. Past about 40 meters, the gun loses that calm beam feeling, and you'll need burst fire instead of holding the trigger like a maniac. Best perks, equipment, and mistakes to avoid with ARs Trophy System is my pick for objective modes because grenades and stuns are still the great equalizer for players who can't shoot you off a head glitch. Pre-aim common corners, shoulder-check less, and don't full-auto distant targets unless the enemy is already weak. Season 1 tuning could mess with all of this, and we still don't have exact millisecond ADS numbers for every aggressive variant or clear data on Weapon Prestige bonuses. If you're planning your grind around loadouts, camos, or side services, sites like U4GM can be useful for checking game-related items and support options, but for the actual AR meta, keep testing after each patch because one nerf can flip the whole board.
